So, I've been slacking the past few weeks...Sorry, I know I need to keep taking these belly pics but I hadn't really felt like I grew much until NOW!! What do you think!?
I'm anxiously waiting our next appointment on June 4th; this is the BIG one where they do a full body analysis on the baby to make sure there are no development abnormalities. It's also where they confirm FOR SURE the sex of the baby. I'm pretty confident that all will go well because up until now my test results have come back normal. Just wondering if we really will be having a little Evelyn and not a boy!? We will see...I've been holding back from buying anything so not to jinx myself!
Anywho, ever since my Mom and Dad came up for Mother's Day weekend we have been busy busy around the house. I don't know what it was but that spark that they had to get things done actually rubbed off on us and now we are actually getting a lot crossed off our list!! My Dad and Matt installed the the living room fan, the dining room chandelier, the doorbell, and the masther bath hardware!! AMAZING!! It's so nice to have all of those things done, it really makes our house feel more homey:)
Our new chandelier in the dining! Still need to paint the china cabinet in the background, any takers??;)
Living room fan!!
In the mean time, my Mom and I shopped til' we dropped at a few shops around Dallas and this church garage sale by our house. We found the greatest treasure at this garage sale....an antique lamp!! It is the cutest thing ever and only cost $7 (what a bargain!). It didn't come with a shade so we hopped in the car and went to Tuesday Morning, one of our FAVS, and found the perfect shade for it and for only $24!! Check out the pic below, not the best light in the picture but we are so proud of it...it is now the focal point of the living room:)
With all that said and done, last Sunday Matt and I were watching Holmes on Homes and I was looking at my favorite blog "YoungHouseLove" and saw some posts of kitchen remodels. For some reason we got the sudden urge to paint our kitchen cabinents!! So at noon on Sunday off we went to Home Depot for all our supplies and got started! Here we are today, Wednesday and we've sanded and primed everything. Tonight we paint, we're just painting them a soft white in hopes to brighten up our kitchen!! Here's what we've done so far, we are SO excited to finish!! Hopefully we will have the completed pictures to share with you this weekend. Fingers crossed!!
Doors are sanded down and almost all primed....
Inside is trimmed...ready to get it DONE!
Love to all,
M&K
